Job Summary
We are looking for a young and energetic Technical Support candidate who will be responsible for monitoring and responding to dealer requests and inquiries through the Helpdesk portal.
Therefore, the candidate will be a key member of the after-sales service team to ensure that core tasks and other requirements are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Motivating the team and supporting them in networking and collaboration efforts.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships with government fleet clients, leasing companies, and corporate accounts.
Planning and participating in approved Chery activities, such as product launches, factory visits, etc., to enhance the brand awareness and visibility of Chery SA products.
Developing and implementing tender strategies to maximize opportunities for securing the best awards in the RT57 contract for supplying vehicles to the government, and negotiating annual tender prices with CSA management to achieve the best results.
Forecasting sales volume by vehicle model and type for the year to ensure adequate inventory supply to support government fleet, leasing, and corporate sales, as well as managing forecasts and stock availability.
Responsible for generating business opportunities and achieving or exceeding annual targets.
Assisting the finance department in managing accounts receivable by ensuring that clients pay their account balances on time, and collaborating on resolving vehicle issues with dealers, fleets, and customer service operations.
Responsible for contract compliance, along with adherence to written processes and guidelines.
Ensuring that the government, leasing, and corporate fleet administrative teams provide the necessary support for vehicle order processing, tracking, and final invoice delivery to clients through weekly monitoring meetings.
Implementing the fleet strategy by dealers across the network and conducting various dealer visits to inspect fleet sales and marketing activities.
Performing any additional tasks requested by senior management.
Requirements
Three years of proven work experience in a similar role.
Automotive industry experience is an essential requirement.
Matric certificate.
A post-school BCom degree in a related field is required.
Valid and active driver's license.
